SOFTWARE ENGINEER - 57010

In this role, you'll be working with a team to develop and maintain a website deployment and management platform that allows our enterprise-class customers the ability to manage their many websites within a single cloud-based interface.

The candidate profile:

The successful candidate will be able to take a complex problem, break it apart, and then build a solution utilizing existing services, APIs and open source software. Candidate will have a deep technical understanding of how websites work to ensure the delivery of a second-to-none SaaS platform and management tools. The position requires a proactive, methodical, and innovative working practice, as well as creativity and excellent problem-solving skills.

The team is highly-motivated and takes ownership of the tasks they’ve been given. Work is done in a highly collaborative manner with solutions constantly being discussed and feedback being given without ego or politics in frequent code reviews. The team constantly improves the development process to deliver the best and highest quality product.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years programming experience with an OO language
• Experience with building integrated systems
• Working knowledge of web, database, and OS server configuration (Linux, Apache, and MySQL preferred platforms)
• Passion for configuring and delivering high-performing websites
• Experience with API integrations, having built systems that either provide or consume REST services

Desired experience with the following:

• PHP
• Drupal
• Building automated task system
• Cloud hosting specifically AWS
• Puppet configuration management
