Acquia is looking for passionate Java Engineers to work in our Toronto office located just steps away from Union Station on The Esplanade.  Successful candidates will work on our digital engagement products which help marketers increase visitor engagement and conversion.

What will you do?

Partner with a small team using Java, Spring, DynamoDB, Kinesis and other Amazon Web Services to build products  that collect, model and take action on visitor data from multiple channels.  This is a rare opportunity to be part of a successful growing company utilizing the latest in big data technologies and cloud based services.

• Work in a highly collaborative environment
• Design, develop and maintain Acquia engagement products using java-based technologies and Amazon Web Services.
• Work with the Product Management team and customers to create user stories and test cases.
• Perform code reviews of peers’ work.
• Maintain high level of functional and technical product knowledge.

What do you bring to the team?

• Strong Java and OO development skills.
• Experience working with database systems.
• Experience using web related technologies such as Javascript, Spring and J2EE.
• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with Agile methods is an asset.
